I'm Moving

I won't be blogging here any more because I'm moving. But I'm not going far. And it's not really a new place. Not for everyone, anyway.:)

I have to work on the design and that make take some time. I've moved everything over there. All of my posts and even the wonderful comments I've received are now on my other blogs. So, if you would like to comment about any of the posts that you see here, just follow the link and you'll find the same posts there.

I'll meet you over here. Hope to see you there.

Awareness or Ignorance

I found this blog, Chicken Scratch linked from Creativity Portal. The title of the blog and the description caught my attention: "Observations on writing and taking pleasure of the small things in life. Want to learn to write beautifully? Pay attention to what a chicken scratches."

I've either had to learn to take pleasure in the small things in life or live my life in misery. May as well enjoy those little things, eh? I would love to learn how to write beautifully and to stop comparing myself to those who do. Easier said than done. Bad habits are hard to break.

I took the Thursday Thirteen post as a sign to share this blog. It's number Thursday Thirteen #33. I just looked at the clock and it said 11:11 am. I've been seeing that lately. Speaking of clocks, the digits of the time she submitted her posts adds up to 13. My daughter has been seeing the number 33 a lot.

What does it all mean? I believe there are universal meanings for the numbers, but I also believe that the meanings are also personal. On a personal level, the reasons for seeing these numbers may be similar and yet they are unique for each one of us. We all have our own circumstances, our own personal stories that have meaning only for ourselves.

Seeing these numbers can help to awaken us and to guide us spiritually. We then have the choice whether to become aware or to ignore these symbols. For some it may seem easier to just ignore them. For others, more difficult. If something is pulling at you to learn more, then why not listen to that voice? You might discover something about you or life itself that you never expected to learn.

I just looked at the clock again. It now says, 11:33 am.:)

First Me Now My Daughter

I’ve had a cold for the past week or more (I’ve lost track of when it started), which turned into a sinus infection and then went back to a cold. I was needing to sneeze and it just wouldn’t come out and then the left side of my face swelled up like a balloon. I think there’s still a little bit of swelling, but compared to the way I’ve been feeling, right now I feel pretty darn good. And I finally sneezed a couple times, which gave me even more relief.

Now suddenly I watch television and at least one character on a few different shows have had some type of virus. I’m grateful not to be as sick as some of those characters.

In the meantime I’ve lost about five pounds. Which doesn’t hurt me a bit.

Now my daughter has a sore throat and a cough.:(

Let the Synchronicities Flow

Well, I'm back and like I said, "this too shall pass". It passed and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Isn't that the way it usually is? At least most of the time. Well, for me it is. So, why do I still worry? Habit. Not enough faith. Which I felt the need to ask God for forgiveness about. It's OK to trust him. I'm not beating myself up about it, but I'm keeping myself in check. Remembering that everything works out for my highest good.

The synchronicities are flowing like a river. I probably won't share them all, though. I'll start with sharing a dream my daughter had a couple nights ago: Throat Synchronicity It's on my other blog because it just fit there at the time.

I've also been seeing a lot of horses (symbolism) for the past couple of months. On television and online usually soon after I think about them. This started awhile before the distant Reiki session and the tarot card reading done by Grace of The Wild Pomegranate.

It's taken awhile, but the messages are coming in bit by bit synchronistically. So far, the Bear and the Ant, which I'll write about later.

Right before I finished writing the last paragraph, my local news did a segment on a park here in town that's having a pony camp for young children. They showed a merry-go-round with live ponies that children get to ride on every day during the camp. It reminded me of the time I was around five and got to ride on one. I wanted to volunteer there, but the city bus doesn't go there, just like another park I was hoping to volunteer at to help care for an owl and an Eagle (or a Hawk).

So, one of my questions to God always is the same with synchronicities: "What does this message mean for my life synchronistically?" <--An excellent article, by the way. And although the horse wasn't one of the medicine cards, it still has a message for me since it's come into my world synchronistically, which has to do with power and freedom. I'll also write more about that later.

I synchronistically found some articles at The Dreamtime by Brett Simpson while doing a key word search for "What does this message mean for my life?". Specifically issues #19 (Throat-Singing) and #21 (Readings and Synchronicity). I'm including issue #20 because the article is continued from issue #19.

I told you the synchronicities were flowing.:)

A Message of Hope During Hard Times

My intuition told me that this would resonate with me perfectly. The message is #33.

Not all of the messages have in such a timely manner. It's at these times when I'm compelled to share a message I've received from God.

On this day of your life, dear friend, I believe God wants you to know...

...that you can change what you see. You don't have

to be trapped by it.

Nothing has to remain the way it is, and nothing is

the way it is forever unless and until you say so.

You really are in charge of your day-to-day

experience. Really.

You know exactly why you received this message

today.

Love, Your Friend....
Neale Donald Walsch

You see. I've fallen on hard times. It's of my own making, I know. But it is what it is until I change it. There are lessons to be learned and a strengthening in my character and spirit to occur. "This too shall pass". I don't like to admit it out loud, but sometimes I just don't know how to make those changes. I don't always know who to ask for help or whether or not I should. There are some people who do expect something in return. A simple "thank you" isn't always enough. And I just don't always know what I can give back. And it hurts when I don't have what they want. I then feel guilty for even asking for help from them.

For those who don't expect more than a person can give, you are the angels of love. I'm not writing this in this hopes of someone coming to my rescue. I'm not even sure why I'm sharing it at all. Well, it's probably because of Rob Parnell's article, Finding Your Unique Voice. I just wonder why sometimes I don't fear being vulnerable while other times I shake and get tingly just thinking about it.

I know in my soul that what the message says is true. It's just difficult while going through these times of hardship. It can be really hard to be positive. And yet, I believe there is hope. This timely message proves that to me. I haven't given up.

I have been getting some help. And I am ever so grateful.

Time Constraints

I haven’t had much time online since before January. My time has been limited due to the isp I’m using to help me financially. I have until April and then I’m not sure what I’ll do for an internet service provider. I’m not worried about it. Something will come to me just in time. It always does.

I hope all who celebrate Valentine’s Day enjoyed the day with a lot of love and peace. February 14 is the day I found out for sure that I was pregnant with my youngest child. I wasn’t on a spiritual journey back then and didn’t experience much peace within. I made my life quite chaotic. I’m glad those days are over and I’m also glad that I look back and see how far I’ve come, emotionally and spiritually. I don’t dwell on that time. I’m just glad to be in a much better place now then I was back then.

I’ll be back with more about synchronicity as soon as I can.

My Symbol - The Butterfly

glitter graphics
Free Glitter Graphics

My symbol. The butterfly. It's not how my synchronistic journey began. But butterflies are what made me believe. They helped me to see me and you, dear reader, as more than just a body with a mind. Butterflies opened my eyes and my heart to hear the whispers of my Soul, that listens to God (or whatever name you choose).

The butterfly is a symbol of transformation. Of rebirth and renewal. I wrote on my other blog about the new year and mentioned new beginnings. I wasn't looking for this graphic, but I didn't have to, either. That's what synchronicity is all about. Meaningful coincidences.

We don't have to go looking for the signs, it will be as if they come to us, if we are open to accept them.

I just looked at the clock and it said, 11:44. Two numbers which I have been seeing a lot lately: 11 and 44. Yes, I'm still seeing the number 44 and from what I've seen looking at my stats, so have quite a few other people.

This tells me that I should do some more reading and research and some more writing about it. I want to help you if I can. I'm not an expert but I will share whatever I can.

The butterfly goes through such a dramatic change and they become so beautiful in their final form, but, I think caterpillars are beautiful, too. There is beauty in all. All we have to do is look with our Souls.

Happy New Year!

Be Blessed.

Happy Holidays

I wish for you all everything good in your life. Peace, love, and happiness. Look within.

I'll be back. I'm going to go watch a movie now. I forgot the name of it. Something to do with aliens. I may fall asleep. I wonder if I'll dream of aliens or butterflies. Not really. I just thought it and decided to type out my thoughts.

I'm going through a metamorphosis. I kind of like this change. It's freeing. I hope this feeling lasts. I guess it could if I allow it to.

No synchronicities right now. Maybe later.

The Chucks Have It

I recently joined MyBlogLog. What I like about it is people can have pictures of themselves and then when they visit your profile, you can see what they look like (if they have a pic of themelves). It’s more personal when people add their pics to their blogs or to a social networking site like MyBlogLog.

A few days ago I had a visitor view my profile, and he was one who had a pic, which I don’t doubt was of himself. When I first saw the photo, I was taken aback. I don’t know what made me think of my uncle because other than a long gray beard, they really didn’t look alike. And this man who I only saw a photo of had a much fuller beard than my uncle. But even having that realization, a little twinge of surprise and sadness was there.

When I visited his profile and I scrolled down the page and got to the end, I wasn’t even thinking about looking for a name or an age. I was just going down the page as I always do, I guess out of habit. Once again I was taken aback.

I got a little teary-eyed when I saw his name. His name, just like my uncle, is Chuck.

I was always fond of my Uncle Chuck. When I was little, when kids would ask me if I was related to Charles Bronson, I would say “yes”, with a big smile on my face. My last name is Brunson, but they didn’t pay attention to the pronunciation. I got tired of being asked that so I decided to have fun with it.:)

I have an uncle who is a retired pilot. My Uncle Chuck once told me that my other uncle owned an airplane that was in a Charles Bronson movie. He didn’t tell me which movie and I don’t even know if he was being honest with me. But it’s cool to think that it’s possible.

My Uncle Chuck died a few years ago. Before he died, my sister told me that she had had a dream that he had died. I think it was only about a week or two later that it happened.

When I was a foster child, we went for years without seeing each other. I was so glad that he found me. I think he knew that it wouldn’t be long for him. He smoked up until his last day here. He had emphysema. I’m glad he’s not suffering any more.

A man I have never met before reminded me of my uncle. Without MyBlogLog, that may never have happened. I liked what he wrote about himself on his profile. Sounds like a fun guy.

We are all connected.

*I just noticed that Charles Bronson was born on November 3, 1921. My birthday is November 21, 1963 and my favorite number has always been, for as long as I can remember, the number 3. Cool. Come to find out, his last name wasn’t really Bronson. It was Buchinsky. He died of pneumonia and Alzheimer's disease.

A Synchronistic Connection

I have to start this post off with sharing a journey of synchronistic beginnings for me and someone who lives thousands of miles from me. Promila reminded me that we have been connected by the same synchronicities. Our first connection was when I was looking for others on Blogger who wrote about their synchronistic journeys. When I found Promila, it was at a time that butterflies were everywhere I went. She had a photo of a butterfly on the most recent post at that time.

Months later came the 44/444 synchronicities. It’s still happening for her. And I guess for me to now because I just turned 44 and this is my 44th post here. Pretty cool, huh?

I don’t know what is in store for either one of us. I don’t know what this all means. Maybe we’ve already discovered the meaning. Maybe it’s all happening to remind us that no matter how far away one lives from another and whether they know each other not, we are all connected.

Maybe it’s to show those who don’t believe (perhaps because they don’t understand) that we are, each one of us, connected. There could be so many reasons. So many meanings. I can tell you this for sure. I’m glad it happened. I’m glad that I did that search and found her.. It’s wonderful to share my journey with another who understands. And it’s also wonderful to share my journey with those who don’t understand but want to or to those who begin to wonder that maybe, just maybe, it’s not just coincidence.

Whatever the reasons, thank you for being a part of my synchronistic journey. I’m so blessed because of that and to be a part of yours as well.

I’m going to go watch Heroes now (unless my daughter is sleeping). Then I have other things I want to get done. I’ll be back later.

Here is something to think about from Numerology Vibes.

The Day After My Birthday - 22 and 44 Revisited

Life is full of lessons. We all have to learn them or pay the consequences. When we get tired enough of learning the lessons, that’s when we change what we do.

Well, yesterday was my 44th birthday and today is Thanksgiving Day and the 22nd of the month. I had been noticing the numbers 22 and 44 a lot back in February. Although the synchronicities had stopped the meanings of those symbols have continued on and now I’m seeing them again.

Sometimes I question myself wondering if, when I was not in focus, I lacked awareness of any synchronicities. If so, I have had synchronicities, just not anything that I wanted to share including the number sequences of 22, 44, 222, and 444.

I wanted to write this down today because of the date and because of me turning 44 yesterday. If it means something, time will reveal whatever it may be when it’s ready.

I can’t stress enough how important it is to always be aware. And when you get out of focus, find your way back as soon as you can. But also, keep it fun. Fun and Focused. I kind of like that.

Wild Pomegranates and Butterflies

This past June I came across a wonderful blog that I just couldn’t stop reading. I started to write about it then, but for some reason I got stuck. I said that I was going to write about her blog and then I never finished it. I don’t know why and I’m so sorry for that because now the blog is gone. But not is all lost because there is another blog.

When I first found “The 13 Graces” blog, the title itself immediately caught my attention because of the number 13 and because of the word, “Graces”, which means a lot to me personally and spiritually. There was a blog post that she wrote that captured my attention but now I don’t remember what it was about.

My belief is strong enough now to say with my whole heart, that we are all connected. We are all connected spiritually. With each synchronicity that connects me with another person, my belief grows stronger and it pleases me so much to have these spiritually driven experiences. It helps me to feel like I really am part of the whole. And if everyone would embrace this Oneness with his or her heart and soul, then there would be more peace in this world.

I found Grace's blog yesterday, November 20th, the same day that she wrote about the pomegranate being a symbol of New Beginnings: birth/death/rebirth, just as butterflies are. She also posted a painting of ”Venus Verticordia”, by Dante Gabriel Rossetti (below). Beautiful, isn’t she? And from what little I know about Grace, so is she.

Scan by Mark Harden

I feel like I’ve been given a special gift when I find an inspirational blogger who is open and honest and allows him/herself to be vulnerable. It helps me to not only feel connected to that person, but also to gain the courage to do the same. For me it may take awhile, and sometimes I seem to retreat back into myself, but I think a little more comes out of me with each new connection.

If you want to have your soul to be touched by another beautiful soul, gently, and with grace, I encourage you to read The Wild Pomegranate. (I’m sorry it took so long…again.)

I found this painting that I had originally had another link from another web site. I didn't want to infringe on Linda Herzog's copyright and am glad I found this so that I can display the painting without doing that.

Back in Focus

I know. It's been seven months since I've written anything here. This is what happens when you lose focus. Synchronicities? I've had many, but I have been lazy in writing most of them down. Some I've written on my other blog because they seemed to fit with what I wanted to write there.

I was reading the personal history of Carol Adrienne and it woke me up to the fact that I am, or at least I was, at one time, a teacher of synchronicity who had left her class high and dry. For that I apologize.

When I say "my class", I'm referring to anyone who I have helped to understand synchronicity better. I don't want anyone to think I'm on a big ego trip and that I know all there is to know about synchronicity. Hey, I still have a lot to learn, which is, I'm sure, why I was led back to Carol Adrienne's web site not long after she resumed blogging.

I'm a big believer in teaching what we want to learn. I'm not even sure why this is. Maybe it's simply because it helps me to know that I'm not alone in my quest to know whatever it is I want to know. And teaching what you are interested in can be fun. And so is learning what you are interested in.

Sometime ago, I said that I was going to write about a blog that I had found and then I was gone. Again, I apologize. I started to write it and I think it's in draft mode. I'll find out and if I can, I'll finish writing it up today.

I think I should change the title of this blog. I already have other blogs called, "Soulful Writer". I think this should say something more that has to do with synchronicity. Any ideas? Any and all suggestions would be helpful and much appreciated.

I do have some synchronicities to share and also some lessons that I have learned.

So, yes, I do believe I'm back in focus and my intent is to stay in focus as much as possible.

It's good to be back!:)

Lucky Medium

Right after I wrote the blog entry, “I’m a Lucky Magnet!”, my daughter came in my office and asked me if I was going to watch Medium. In case you have never heard of it, it’s a show about a psychic medium Allison Dubois, played by Patricia Arquette, who works at the District Attorney's office using her psychic abilities to help solve crimes. The show is based on the real-life medium Allison Dubois. I would just love to meet her.:)

I love that show, so for me to not think about it on the night that it’s usually on must mean that I am pre-occupied with something else. Which I was. All of these synchronicities need to be cleared from my head and I have some reviews to write on my other blog, which I have renamed. It’s now Diana Brunson. That’s it. Just my first and last name. Plus the tagline: “I’m flying by the seat of my pants. With chocolate.”:)

Anyway. Not thinking too much about it, I told my daughter, “no”, that I didn’t feel like watching it. Then she mentioned that I haven’t been watching it lately. I don’t remember what programs I watch from one week to the next. Not usually anyway. I seem to remember watching Medium last week, but I’m not sure. I know that re-runs have been showing, but I don’t know if a new episode was on last week or not. I don’t usually watch the same episode more than once. I’d rather do research online or write.

Well, I got curious so I checked to see if there was, after all, a new episode on tonight. I looked at the Medium web site and found out the title of tonight’s episode. “1-900-LUCKY. I still didn’t know whether it was new or not. Her brother was in this one and a previous one as well. I thought it was the same one. But when I watched the video of the previews on their web site I saw that it was indeed a new episode. Which, by the way, was directed by Patricia Arquette's brother, David Arquette. He did a great job.

So of course I watched it. Not only it was new but also because of the title. Yeah. I would’ve watched it no matter what the title was, but, hey, it gave me something more to write about. Well, that was fun. Good episode, too. Allison’s brother sees and talks to the dead. He helped her solve a case. I hope he’s on there more often. He makes it more interesting and fun.

I'm a Lucky Magnet!

I think I was reading something the other day...maybe yesterday with the word "magnet" in the title. If I remember and if I find it, I'll share it with you. Because of the title of my horoscope for today: "You Magnet You". I do attract and absorb energy from others. Whether it's positive energy or negative energy. If it's strong enough, I will soon feel it. Even if the person lives 1000s of miles away from me. Distance makes no difference.

Here is what my horoscope says:

"Every so often, you get incredibly lucky -- so lucky that if you're within a few seconds and/or shouting distance of a very fortunate encounter, something will 'coincidentally' make it happen. This is your moment. Make it good. Pay attention."

I haven't been reading these horoscopes lately. Not the ones from Astrology.com. I did one of their sample readings and automatically received a username and password for my daily forecast. I read it after I posted "Multiple Synchronicities".

Isn't that always what I say? "Pay attention".

Multiple Synchronicities

I have a list of synchronicities to share. I need to get them all sorted out before I write about theme here. My daughter is part of one of them. That makes it even more special and fun for me. I remember a time when she thought I was crazy. She still doesn’t really understand it, but I don’t completely either. But that’s okay. I’m still learning and I don’t think I will ever understand synchronicity completely. Maybe we’re not supposed to.

There are things that happen that nobody ever understands. Accepting this and having faith that whatever happens is happening for a reason. The circumstance may not always be what we want to happen but it usually turns into something much greater than we ever expected.

Here is my list of synchronicities. I’m not sure when I’m going to get it all written out.

Titanic (the movie)<----If you buy this movie through my link, I will get a little money for it. What a blessing that would be.
Luck (the word)<----Learn how to write the word "luck" in Chinese
Cole (the name)<----A breathtaking view
Chocolate
Life is like a box of chocolates (the phrase and it goes with chocolate)
Forrest Gump (the movie) (connected with the above phrase)
Butterflies (they’re baaaack)
Gold

Goodness. Now that I have that typed out, I see that it’s more than I thought at first. Good. I hope they keep coming.:)

As for the butterflies, I haven’t seen any outside yet. I would say that it’s probably do to the unseasonal low temperatures. But that theory is moot because when the butterfly synchronicities first began it was still Winter. Our Winters are usually very cold.

I have a lot more writing to do, so I better get busy at it.

Synchronicity With Sevens

I'm sorry. I can't go into detail right now. Not because it's too personal. I just don't remember. This is the reason it's so important to write notes. Most of the time I didn't feel the need because the most significant synchronicities stayed with me. Since the last time I blogged, for about three or four days of that time, the number seven kept reaching out to me. I'm still seeing sevens, just not as often as I was.

Do you ever do that? Have things on your mind that you want to remember but just don't feel like writing them down, knowing that you should? I do that more than I should.

Well, how about that. I did a search on the number 7 and visited the Wikipedia page for it. A link there led me to another page on Wikipedia for Seven Jeans. Right before doing this search I had been reading a blog by a woman who had left me a comment on Mae's Muse. Sara has Fybromyalgia, which I had never heard of and my heart goes out to her. I don't know how she deals with the chronic pain. If you want to know more, she has a couple of articles about it on her blog.

At the bottom of Sara's blog is the information of who designed the template she is using. There is also a link to a sponsor. The sponsor is Active Sandals who sells...Seven Jeans. Cool, huh?:)

Don't you just love synchronicity? I sure do.:)

Oh, it's Spring here in the USA, which means butterfly season is upon us. I haven't seen any yet, but I'm sure it won't be much longer. They're more plentiful when the temperatures are in the 80s. Butterflies warm my heart and soul.:)

Why Alex?

That's the question that keeps popping in my head whenever I see any form of the name, Alexander. Male or female, it doesn't matter. It started when I discovered a site called, Pixelotto.com. I have written a couple of posts about it on Mae's Muse. I won't get into it here.

Ever since then I have been seeing or hearing that name, over and over again. Mostly on t.v., but sometimes online as well. I think my daughter mentioned the name a few times as well.

I don't know. Maybe it's nothing at all. That happens on occasion. It could be because I started noticing it more. But that doesn't mean I'm dismissing it. There could very well be something to it.

Time will tell.

Number Thoughts

Yesterday I was thinking of a few of the numbers that have been coming up for me in the past few years. Namely, 22, 33, and 44.

The meaning of number 33 is truth. Eugene explains it very well and many times to people who have emailed him asking him what it means. He also answered a question that someone asked about the number 22. If you scroll down, you'll see the title, "Ask Me". The question and Eugene's reply is right below that title.

When I began reading Eugene's reply, I thought of chocolate and then my mouth began to water. The word, "stimulation" was what did it for me. It's usually when I read about chocolate that I start salivating. The mind is a powerful tool. If everyone knew this and used this knowledge for the greater good of everyone in the Universe, can you imagine how much more love there would be? I can. All it takes is one person at a time.

I did a search on the number 33, to see if I could find anything new. This web site looks familiar, but I'm not sure. But I wanted to share it because of the title and because I was curious about the word, "Pravda", so I found the word on Wikipedia. A couple dates caught my attention: April 22, 1912 and August 22, 1991

Pravda is a Russian newspaper that was first published in Vienna. The first issue was published on October 3, 1908. The last issue on April 22, 1912, which was also the date of the first issue in St. Petersburg.

On March 3, 1918, the newspaper offices were transferred to Moscow.

I don't have the sense that the information I found about the Russian newspaper, Pravda means anything at all to me personally. But then again, it very well could. Like I've said many times before, I don't dismiss any synchronicities. Pravda, by the way, means, "Truth", which I'm sure is the reason for the title of the article on Time.

As I thought of these numbers, a few things occurred to me.

  • My son is 22 years old.
  • I have a sister who I didn't grow up with. My father left me with the sister of a friend of his when I was 12 and my sister was five. I didn't see her again until she was 14. That was 22 years ago.
  • I have a brother who was two years old the last time I saw him. He's now 33 years old.
  • I will be 44 years old this year in November
*My father took my brother and my sister to another state. I became a foster child.

There could be more to the numbers, 22 and 44 than this. I will continue to be conscious of them. And even the number 33 because since it means truth, if I am not living in truth then that number may begin to appear as a reminder for me. It'll be God's way of whispering in my ear reminding me to speak my truth, live my truth...be...my truth.

Hey, take a look at the timestamp.:)
